Turkey breast slices (low-sodium, preferably organic)
Avocado - 1/2, sliced
Tomato - 1, ripe and sliced
Large lettuce leaves (Romaine or Butter lettuce work well) - 4 leaves
Fresh herbs like basil or parsley for garnish
Hummus - 2 tablespoons
Prep: Wash lettuce leaves and lay them flat. Place a turkey slice on each leaf.
Hummus: If using, spread a dab of hummus on each turkey slice before adding avocado.
Avocado: Slice half an avocado and distribute the slices onto the turkey.
Tomato: Add a slice of tomato on top of the avocado.
Roll: Roll up the lettuce and turkey around the fillings. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
Garnish and Serve: Add fresh herbs for flavor, then enjoy immediately or refrigerate for later.
